Case study · Agriculture
A three-portal system that runs 10 cold storages, so farmers can hold their harvest safely until the market price is right.

The challenge
A farmer with 50,000 kg of potatoes loses out if they have to sell on a day the market pays ₹1 a kg. Stored safely until the price reaches ₹5, the same harvest is worth five times as much. Our client owns 10 cold storages that give farmers that option, and needed one system to manage slots, bookings and payments across all of them.
Our approach
Why storage matters
An example from the brief: 50,000 kg of potatoes, sold now or sold after waiting for a better price.
Three portals
Owns all 10 cold storages, assigns a manager to each one, and oversees slots, bookings and payments everywhere.
Runs a single cold storage: finds a free slot for each farmer, allocates it and takes the payment.
Stores their produce for two months, three months or longer, and can see what they have stored and for how long.
How it works
A farmer comes to the cold storage with their harvest.
The manager checks which slots are free in their storage.
A free slot is assigned to the farmer and marked as occupied.
The farmer pays for the storage period they need.
The crop stays in the slot for two months, three months or more.
The admin can manage every storage, manager and booking from one place.
